How long will your joint replacement last?
Many people ask me how long their planned joint replacement will last. I am confident that, if matters proceed as we plan, we would expect at least 20 years of function to follow. I point out that these joints are maintenance free and that, apart from routine infrequent xrays there is no other treatment required
In most patients we will not place onerous restrictions on everyday activity
