Avalon Orthopaedic assists patients who have Orthopaedic issues. This generally refers to matters that affect bones, joints and muscles and the way in which injury or other causes can lead to personal discomfort or loss of function. Led by Associate Professor Paul Miniter, the group aims to provide its patients with prompt and professional assistance.

Acute/sporting injuries
Professional, accurate assessment of your injury is crucial to its correct management. Time is of the essence in many injuries.
Deformity/ Realignment
We employ proven techniques to alleviate joint issues by realignment. This allows management by joint preservation rather than replacement, especially in the young and middle aged.
Robotic Surgery
A/Prof Miniter has been at the forefront of navigation for joint replacement for over 10 years. He is abreast of and uses the latest robotic procedures where in indicated.
Osteoarthritis
Osteoarthritis is a common condition. It involves the deterioration of the surface of a joint. Resulting from injury or quite simply poor joint surface.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATIONS
Comprehensive Rural Health Project: at least twice per year we journey to India on charitable work in a very poor area where a hospital has been established. The surgery is challenging and immensely rewarding
