Background
Sr Helen Rowcliffe has worked with A/Prof Miniter for over 10 years. She assists him both in the rooms, seeing patients both before and after surgery. With her huge clinical experience and gentle temperament, she is able to dispense advice regarding your intended surgical treatment and also helps with postoperative management.
After you have had an operative procedure, Helen will call you, usually in the first 2 to 3 days. She does so to make sure that you clearly understand the best way to manage your pain relief, rest, time off work and dressings. She will help clarify all sorts of questions that you may ask.
Helen is a particularly valuable member of our team.
